Chapter 2: Little Childhood Sweetheart Is Quite Feisty (Part 2)

A rascal with no proper upbringing…
When night arrived, Qi He tossed and turned in bed as he tried to sleep. In the end, he sat up and kicked his desk before letting out a curse.
F*ck!
Shouldn’t he care that someone had berated him?
There seemed to be a seed of evilness sprouting in his heart. He hadn’t done anything to that idiot. What right did that damned old lady have to lecture him? Did she really think that he was a pushover?
The more Qi He thought, the more he couldn’t take it lying down.
Since everyone despised him and assumed that he would end up as a hooligan, then he should become one!
So she had lectured him, right?
Hmph!
Qi He smirked, and his expression slowly turned cold. He already knew what he wanted to do.
In remote villages, most of the villagers still used firewood. Almost every family had a wood shed where they placed piles of dried grass and firewood.
Qi He lit up a cigarette as he stood outside the shed which was behind Yun Fanxing and her grandmother’s house.
In truth, he wasn’t really that wicked or vicious. He knew it himself, but no one understood him. Everyone despised him, and that had been the reason why he became rebellious and aloof.
If he were really evil and vile, would you believe that he could wipe out everybody in the village who had badmouthed him behind his back?
However, he was stuck between failing to be a nice person and at the same time, failing to be truly bad. It was annoying! He had no wish to continue like this. Since everyone deemed that he was scum, then what was wrong with him actually being one?
Smoke was rising in spirals.
He had finished his cigarette.
The conviction in Qi He’s heart had taken root.
It was true that honest men were always bullied, just like how honest horses were always mounted. He had no wish to be bullied!
He had used his lighter to set the firewood on fire and watched as the fire blazed ferociously.
Qi He felt smug and pleased with himself as he began to laugh. The anger in his heart, which had been suffocating him for years, had completely vanished. He felt as though he could walk with his head held high.
He felt great!
That damned old woman! Served her right for lecturing him with such enthusiasm!
No one would understand pain until fire had burnt them.
Ignoring the blaze, Qi He turned around to depart. He strolled along the winding path at a leisurely pace and even washed his face at the river.
And then he saw…
Fanxing was ambling towards him, with her hair full of colorful plastic clips. Soul Searching Spirit was in despair as it thought to itself, ‘These hair clips are really tacky. Please stop asking me to praise you every day.’
Soul Searching Spirit had never been in such agony before. Yun Fanxing with countless colorful clips on her hair had requested for different praises every day!
This was indeed the most excruciating suffering!
“Idiot, stop walking.” Malice filled Qi He’s heart as he eyed Fanxing. His eyes were twinkling with bad intentions.
He has gotten worse, Fanxing told Soul Searching Spirit quietly in her heart.
‘How do you know?’
His aura.
His aura wasn’t right.
Fanxing could detect a person’s kindness or malice keenly. Kindness and malice weren’t apparent in a person’s appearance but deep within their souls.
A person could look fierce and menacing, but he or she could be a gentle soul. Some might look as though they hadn’t changed at all, yet their hearts had become stronger.
Just like how a soft jelly could turn into a tough piece of meat in her mouth.
Fanxing stood as she was told, and Qi He scoffed coldly. She was indeed an idiot and would definitely be an easy target.
Qi He bent his head as he smugly studied the girl. “Idiot, I’ve burned down your house. Let’s see where that old woman and you are going to sleep tonight!”
At the thought of what he had done, he felt as though he had settled a score.
He pointed in the direction of the smoke and said, “Do you see that? That is your house which is burning right now! Are you scared? If that damned old woman and you weren’t at home, I would have burned both of you!”
Yeah! This was right!
He should continue to be this ruthless!
On the day of his return to the Qis, he would kill everyone in the Qi family!
