“Did you really start the fire?” Fanxing asked slowly.
“Do you reckon that I’m lying?”
Fanxing began to mumble to herself as she stood deep in thought. “When a child is disobedient…”
Soul Searching Spirit was speechless. It had a sense of foreboding as it guessed what she was going to say next.
“Idiot, what are you muttering under your breath?” Qi He furrowed his eyebrows, looking displeased with Fanxing’s attitude.
“He is a spoiled child…” Fanxing continued slowly.
‘You—’ Soul Searching Spirit didn’t have time to stop Fanxing as she bolted toward Qi He like a bullet. She tackled him to the ground and pinned him down.
She pressed him firmly against the ground.
“F*ck!” Qi He had turned red as he struggled to get up.
However, this idiot had extraordinary strength, and he couldn’t break free. He couldn’t even move.
“A beating should do the trick…” Fanxing gazed at Qi He.
It was incredibly hard to look straight into her shining black eyes. Qi He’s heart sensed a strange danger especially after he heard what she had said. His face had turned pale.
This idiot was serious about beating him up and teaching him a lesson.
“You should be a good boy,” said Fanxing.
Only then would she be able to increase her intelligence from one to two.
“Why is it your damn business if I’m good or not?! You are a fool, and you don’t even know how to be a normal person. How dare you try to control me?!” Qi He was fuming.
Damn it! What was this fool up to?
“He isn’t listening.” Fanxing spoke to Soul Searching Spirit and seemed a little happy. “This means I can beat him…”
‘Hold on! Don’t hit him!’ Soul Searching Spirit tried to dissuade her.
“Why?” Fanxing sounded regretful.
‘Have you forgotten? Your mission is to protect God of War! How can you hit him?’
“Oh.” Her tone was filled with regret.
Qi He watched as the idiot raised her fist and was about to land it on his face. However, in the end, she seemed to enter a daze as she sat on his body. She seemed to be recalling something.
The idiot put down her fist and began to rummage in her bag.
She found a paintbrush and flashed him a rather sinister smile…
Qi He had a premonition that something bad was about to happen. “Idiot, what are you trying to do?! I’m warning you not to act recklessly!” He had never been so sullen before. He felt as though he was a girl, trying her best to fight off a bully.
“F*ck! Yun Fanxing you idiot! Let me go! Do you believe that I will end you?!”
Qi He felt the tip of the paintbrush on his face, but he had no idea what Fanxing was drawing on it.
How he wished he could strangle this idiot to death!
“You have to behave in future, understand? If not…” Fanxing extended a fair and soft hand as she patted Qi He’s cheek. After pondering for some time, she formed a threat. “I will draw two next time.”
With that, she stood up from Qi He.
She slung her bag over her back and started to walk home.
Qi He squatted by the river and swore to himself after he saw his face. In this lifetime, he would never reconcile with that fool, Yun Fanxing!
The paint was green.
The picture was a turtle.
She had drawn a tiny green lifelike turtle on his face. And the turtle’s shell had cramped lines all over it!
Qi He scrubbed his face for half an hour…
He didn’t manage to wash it off.
