Chapter 4: Little Childhood Sweetheart Is Quite Feisty (Part 4)

Grandmother’s woodshed was razed to the ground. When she returned home, she cried her heart out, with tears rolling down her face.
Fanxing didn’t reveal that Qi He was the culprit behind the fire and merely collected more firewood in the village.
The next day, Qi He didn’t go to school. He had used an entire bar of soap to scrub his face the entire night. He had gotten most of the paint off, but there was a little bit left.
It was still vaguely visible.
He had an image to keep.
If he were to go to school with a turtle on his face, how would he be able to face everyone?
After he set the shed on fire yesterday, he had been too excited to fall asleep at night. He assumed that since the idiot Yun Fanxing was privy to the truth, she would definitely inform all the villagers that he was the one behind the fire.
All right! Get everyone here!
He was like a panther who had thrown caution to the wind. He was lying in wait for people to seek trouble with him, and then he would rip them apart!
However, he had waited in vain as he lay awake the whole night. No one came for him.
In the end, he looked as though he had bruises under his eyes, and he could barely open them the next day.
F*ck!
That idiot didn’t rat him out?
It didn’t make any sense!
Why didn’t she?
Qi He was feeling frustrated. He was a youth who had committed a crime for the first time in his life, and he couldn’t wait to announce it to everyone. ‘Hey, look! I’m a useless piece of scum! I’m beyond salvation! I can commit arson, murder, and all sorts of evil deeds. If you are capable, come and challenge me!’
He had been eagerly waiting to reveal the savage side of him so that everyone would be afraid of him.
In the end, he had prepared himself.
But Yun Fanxing didn’t say a word.
Qi He was furious, and he waited to ambush Fanxing on the path that she had to take to go home from school. He had intended to teach that idiot a good lesson again in a bid to salvage his pride.
Fanxing was sipping a bottle of drink that cost a yuan.1 Her gleaming black almond-shaped eyes peered at Qi He. “Are you looking for me?”
Soul Searching Spirit had told her that she had to take good care of him like a fragile little flower. So she couldn’t hit him, and she could only draw a turtle on his face.
“Did you not tell that old woman that I was the one who set the fire?” questioned Qi He.
Fanxing took a big gulp and shook her head. “Nope.”
Why should she do that? The shed had been burnt down.
Qi He sneered coldly. “Why is that so? Are you afraid that I would look for you if you were to rat on me? You’re a fool! Do you really think that I won’t bully you if you keep quiet?” He couldn’t think of a reason for Fanxing staying silent regarding this matter and could only arrive at this conclusion.
Little Chief tilted her head. “So are you here to bully me today?”
Qi He gazed at the river beside him. Bullying this little idiot brought him a strange sense of achievement. It was as if a weakling who had been bullied had finally found another weaker being. Therefore, he wanted to get rid of the demons in his heart.
So he decided to frighten her. “Do you think you will drown if I throw you into the river?”
It seemed as though the demons were at work when he stretched his hands out, with evil thoughts enveloping his mind.
He had been exiled by the Qi family to this village. No one cared about him, nor did anyone want him. As the saying went, a disaster would last for a millennium. Anyway, he had no hope in this life. In that case, he should harm someone else!
In the end, he failed to push Fanxing.
So he pushed again.
Little Chief stood unyielding despite the rain and wind, and was as still as a mountain.
After being pushed twice, Fanxing blinked as she watched Qi He with her huge almond-shaped eyes. Then, she seized and grabbed Qi He’s hand before he could react in time.
She acted as swiftly as a sudden clap of thunder as she grabbed Qi He’s arm, before throwing him over her shoulder.
She threw him into the river!
Splash!
That splash practically splattered everywhere!
As Qi He was being thrown into the river, he became disoriented. He wound up sinking right down to the bottom of the river as though he was a steelyard weight. Qi He swallowed and choked on the water. He couldn’t swim and began to struggle.
After choking on the water, Qi He became more sober.
He… he had become so unbelievably depraved that he actually had the thought of killing someone earlier on.
“Help… Help…” Qi He struggled as he thrashed about in the water. Yun Fanxing was the only one around, and he doubted that a fool could save him.
Qi He had given up hope at that moment.
However, after that moment of despair, Fanxing removed her shoes and clothes slowly before jumping into the river to rescue him.
The little girl was wearing only her undergarments and a pair of bunny shorts, and she looked adorable. Yet…
She managed to carry Qi He with one hand and supported him with her shoulder. Then she placed him on the grass, looking macho and manly.
How could she be adorable then?
“In the future, stop thinking of doing bad deeds or becoming a bad person.” Fanxing sat on top of Qi He’s tummy as she spoke, looking vexed.
Qi He spluttered and cursed.
He had choked on water just now! He might have swallowed a small fish or two.
This idiot, Yun Fanxing, continued to sit on him, and he threw up water continuously. And in the process, he threw up two tiny fishes that were still alive.
“It’s none of your business!” Qi He gritted his teeth as he hissed harshly. Yun Fanxing was a fool, so how did she possess such strength?
“Are you disagreeing?” asked Fanxing.
“Damn y—”
Before Qi He could finish his sentence, he was flung out at an angle before landing into the river once more. He began to struggle in the water.
Soul Searching Spirit was shocked beyond words!
What kind of method was this?
Didn’t she promise to cherish and take care of their master, the God of War, like a little flower? How could a little flower endure such violence?
Soul Searching Spirit was flustered, but it couldn’t do anything.
All it could do was to watch as Fanxing scooped Qi He up from the river before she dropped him wordlessly into the river again. Then she fished him out once more…
The cycle repeated itself three times.
After Qi He was fished out for the fourth time, he collapsed on the grass, looking like a piece of salted fish.
“In the future, you have to behave yourself and stop thinking of doing bad deeds.”
Qi He pressed his lips as he had no wish to say anything; neither could he say anything.
After the series of inhumane attacks by Little Chief, Qi He, who was originally overflowing with confidence, was left emotionally and physically battered.
So much so that he felt completely defeated.
How could he have been defeated by an idiot?
