Crazy for Flowers - Chapter 3
Chapter 3
Dorothy punched the floor out of frustration two days later after spending 24 hours in the Central Library, saying it was time to see the light, not the darkness.
However, there was no sign that the light would welcome her even after turning the paper over and over again.
Dorothy lamented over the last of the chocolate chip cookies.
“No, how can there be so many people… There’s no end to this!”
Soon she said she understood.
“Well, there are a lot of people in the world.”
Dorothy nodded in agreement after she stated the obvious. After realizing that complaints wouldn’t help her, she quieted down and calmly turned the page. This would end one day.
At last, heaven listened to her complaints, and the pages on which her fingers were placed contained the stories of the count.
It’s a page about Lupaspin!
“Oh, sh**!”
An unknowingly loud exclamation rang out. She was afraid of someone who might have heard her, turned her head, and looked around. Fortunately, no one seems to have heard of it.
Will I finally find the end?
Dorothy, who was tired mentally and physically, trembled with overwhelming joy.
Dorothy took a deep breath.
It’s still too early to be happy.
Hue, ha. Hue, ha.
If the expectations were high, disappointment would be higher. Dorothy held onto her swelling expectation and carefully read every word, from the top left of the page to the bottom right.
[The Lupaspin had nothing to do with politics even though they’re a count. They remained neutral and didn’t cause a big rumor about it. Some accessories that represent the family was a ring that had an emerald in the middle.
There was one incident that caught people’s attention, their missing daughter. It was presumed that a maid kidnapped her for money. However, this quickly subsided since the emperor’s coronation ceremony, so most people don’t know this. Unfortunately, the daughter couldn’t be found even after a few months.
A few years later, Rosella den Lupaspin and Ron den Lupaspin died from an illness]
After finishing the section, she closed the book with a light heart. At the sudden movement, dust flew everywhere. Still, she hugged the book.
Dorothy, who wasn’t bothered about the dust surrounding her, jumped up from her seat.
Achoo.
Dorothy, unable to escape the dusty wind that hit her, coughed and stomped her feet. She shouted in a small voice, embracing her overwhelmed heart.
“Today is the day I found it! Good job, Dorothy. You’re amazing, dear. I think I deserve a strawberry cake!”
Dorothy always wanted to eat a strawberry cake whenever she did something special.
In an instant, Dorothy went back to normal as she put the book away.
Her hair was messy but pretty. Since she had no glasses on, the light brown eyes that could now be seen in detail gave off a subtle atmosphere.
She ran to the city hall so fast that you couldn’t even see her feet.

When Dorothy arrived at the window, asking and asking people, she was careful about her steps. An uncle was sitting in a transparent box that welcomed her head-on, blocking contact.
“I came to claim a title.”
“Are you Den or Ren or higher, Nen?”
Den was represented as a Count, Ren was represented as a Marquis, and Nen was represented as a Duke. She vigorously replied as she knew what she was.
“Den!”
“What is your last name?”
“It’s Lupaspin.”
“Please wait a moment.”
I heard a rustling sound at the end of the talk. Dorothy leaned on the wall to help with her excitement.
What she expected was him to check the Count’s bankbook. Even if he were a Count, he still would have a lot of money. Dorothy reassured herself, saying nothing will end in vain.
Knock, knock.
A tap on the window startled Dorothy. She turned around to see an uncle staring at her with no expression. As I put a piece of hair behind my ear, a short cough came from the window.
“Please give me an item that proves your identity.
“Oh, here it is.”
Dorothy took out a ring with an emerald in the middle of it. She pushed it through the small hole. The man took the ring and wrote on a form, and gave the form to Dorothy.
It was like a consent form. Dorothy signed the form beautifully, and the uncle finally greeted her.
“Dorothy Den Lupaspin, congratulations on regaining your title! Unfortunately, the land is now owned by the Imperial Family, but the rest is yours!”
“Yes.”
“But you must be at least 25 years old to succeed in the title, so if you don’t have any problems, come back later.”
“Ah! Then instead of the Count, could I be the Count’s young lady?”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“Thank you.”
With a cheerful greeting, Dorothy finally obtained the bankbook and the title she wanted so much. She is now Dorothy Den Lupaspin.
For some reason, it seems like there should be some sound effects. After finishing her work with a happy smile, the Count’s young lady became busy.
F***.
Dorothy accidentally bumped into a person in front of her, causing her to hit her nose on his chest. Dorothy held her nose and was shocked to see the man’s expensive clothes.
Oh my gosh. It’s a suit, a suit! The suit looked expensive like they poured all of their money into making that.
To sum up the situation, Dorothy’s family was a Count. Marquises and Dukes are more powerful than her, and the royal family was the most powerful.
This was a very different world from the Republic of Korea, so if you offend someone higher than you, your life could end.
Dorothy thought about what could happen to her until,
He raised his head like a robot with a silent shout of “Life is nothing like that!”
It was a face that seemed to stick out and make some sound effects.
The man had honey blonde hair that looked as warm as the sun, with brown eyes that looked reminiscent of Autumn. The man was tall, and he seemed like he had the talent to make people around him happy.
A man who knew he was loved by everyone and loved everyone back.
The music warrior, Vessel nen Lowdenta.
Heoup. Dorothy took advantage of this and backed away. She shouldn’t stand out in front of one of the male protagonists.
Dorothy tried to calm down as much as possible while trying not to show that she was surprised.
The person in front of me was like a mango. Mangoes, unfamiliar with this ruling system. Yes, that guy with honey blonde hair isn’t a man, but a fruit.
Is it because he hypnotized me? The trembling hands calmed down, and numerous words filled my mind, which were white blank. I began to think of common words that I could say to people I had never seen before. Dorothy picked one of them and opened her mouth.
But Vessel opened his mouth before she could say anything.
“Are you okay? We bumped into each other.”
“Ah, yes, I am okay. Thank you for your concern.”
“Are you really okay?”
Vessel closely looked at Dorothy’s body.
Whenever he did that, Dorothy wanted to talk.
‘Go! Just go already! I mean, it’s so tiring when I get involved with you!’
“Yes, and once again, I’m very sorry. You could go on your way; I may have wasted too much of your time.”
“No, I’m fine.”
With those three words, Vessel didn’t move. Dorothy inwardly screamed and cried.
What the hell?! Why aren’t you leaving! Someone make him leave!
Unfortunately, Dorothy’s inward cries couldn’t be heard by anyone.
Vessel’s hand extended over Dororthy’s head. Dorothy stiffened from the sudden movement. Her eyes cautiously looked at Vessel’s arm.
It was a struggle to find a reason for Vessel’s move. In Vessel’s hand was a flower ornament Dorothy wore on her hat when she dressed up as a grandmother.
A laugh arose from his throat. I can’t believe you did that. The man’s eyes that were stinging at me felt like a burden.
Is he a crazy person? As Dorothy took the flower from the man’s hand in horror, he laughed once again.
“I won’t say anything about this.”
“Thank you.”
“No, you don’t have to thank me. You looked pretty funny. You were like a crazy person running around with flowers on her head.”
“Ah, I see.”
“Then, I’ll go! I hope to see you around!”
And so, Vessel waved and disappeared from Dorothy’s view.
When Vessel’s back was no longer in Dorothy’s view, she repeatedly looked at the flower, then at the floor. Then she began to pound herself on the chest and kept calling herself an idiot.
Crazy! You’re crazy! Were you only interested in the flowers! All Dorothy could do now was hope that her first impression wasn’t strong.

There were 400 million lunar coins in Dorothy’s bankbook, which was quite a fair amount considering there was an epidemic where the Lupaspin mansion was located. It was enough to buy good mansions and articles needed for journalism.
Upon getting this money, Dorothy left the orphanage. She didn’t have any deep relationship with any people, so it was easy to greet the director and leave.
She bought a small house that had a secret room far away from the village.
Luckily the rumors surrounding that house were terrible, so she was able to acquire it for 200 million lunar coins. Here, the dresses usually cost 50 million lunar coins. Naturally, 400 million lunar coins were obviously not enough for her to eat and do what she wanted.
(t/n 1 lunar coin is equivalent to 1 won, so her inheritance is around 360,000 USD, which isn’t a lot enough for a lifetime.)
Dorothy knew this house had a secret room as it appeared several times in the novel. This cute house had a living room, a kitchen, and a bedroom, almost like a customized road. The secret room would be a place where no one would know about her reporter’s job.
When all the unboxing was done, Dorothy wrote down what she had to do in a notebook.
The most important thing to do was to be Narusten’s maid to make a big scoop. Before she writes an article about Alicia, she had to write many big scoops to get her name out there.
To beat Alicia, you had to be a veteran reporter, not a newcomer, because you had to earn the public’s trust.
Thus, Dorothy planned to live with two identities.
