“Elsia— I kill it all.”
He had killed all of the visible monsters, so he was more injured than usual.
“This time I really did it.” He, too, didn’t know much about that world. He only knows how to kill the monster, so he only knows the characteristics to look out for; there are other things he doesn’t know.
He was the one who killed all the monsters without even sleeping, for fear that the monsters would freely enter the area where she was, making things even more dangerous. “Please stay alive.” Ixion closed his eyes and sat down where he had always sat.
“You’re stronger than I am— So.” In fact, his memories of three years ago are hazy.
He won the war, so he took the enemy country’s Princess as a hostage.
During the war, he never forgot a single thing. With no background at all, the way he chose to establish his position was victory. He simply did his best from the standpoint of a Prince who is only recognized when he is having a ball.
So maybe he felt sorry for Elsia, who was clearly in the same situation as him.
“You saved my life.”
When he was bored, he remembered the look in her eyes as she approached him. In the small room of the Imperial palace, he recalls hearing her voice cheering for victory.
The pink flowers that were cutely attached to her silver hair, as well as Artise’s tactics that she clearly explain. He wanted to give her everything she wanted, and he thought it would be a good thing if it was marriage.
So when she said she’d changed her mind, he must have despised it.
“But it’s pointless without you.” He mumbled madly, biting his lips. He said he would do his best no matter what, so if she was still alive—.
Of course, it can’t be Niel Evgeny. Because they have the same surname, it was difficult to avoid gossip.
Regardless of how much he belonged to the Wizard Tower, even if he didn’t have a drop of blood mixed and only became a stepbrother when he reached adulthood.
And, most importantly, Niel could never be serious about Elsia. He could tell that the search’s attitude was passive. Niel’s vision was cloudy in everything, and he was drenched in other thoughts.
“If you could have even a tiny little bit of joy for the rest of your life… I will learn to play an instrument and write.”
Ixion grabbed his head and vomited to himself in agony because there was no response.
“I’m going to look like that damn Niel Evgenie… So, please…”
He had actually imagined something bad. It was good to walk hand in hand while trapped in the devil’s cave. Of course, they needed to get out, but they weren’t in a rush.
It wasn’t enough for her to be concerned and to heal wounds that he didn’t take for granted. He enjoys talking to her alone, and seeing her round eyes look at him makes his heart skip a beat. He thought it was adorable and wonderful that she talked so passionately about her life.
It’s also incredible that she’s saying things about herself that she’s never said to anyone else. The cozy feeling of being alone in the world was actually quite pleasant, so even the devil’s cave felt like heaven.
Would he have been able to get back together without leaving her behind if he had been a little faster?
“Please—please, stay alive.”

“Oh, is this a jewel?”
I didn’t realize it when I was walking with Ixion, but as I relaxed, I saw things I’d never seen before.
“May I borrow your body for a moment?”
Among the monsters following me, I picked up a baby with claws as hard as crabs and scraped the wall with shining jewels. Of course, it was a complete mess, but I reasoned that if I trusted the craftsmanship, it would be possible.
‘I’m going to buy a horse with this. I wish that horse was half as smart as Isith.’
It was a little embarrassing to say, “Give me money to buy a horse,” no matter how much she was the Marquis’ adopted daughter. I couldn’t ask for anything more, especially since the Marchioness used to shower me with gifts.
I was trying to put the gemstone in my pocket when I noticed the bloody clothes.
‘Oh, right. Because I kept hurting myself with White, even if my body heals, blood will still be on my clothes.’
I was even carrying White, so my chest was covered in bloodstains. It was obvious that I’d be a complete mess.
“Mwa.”
“Yes, I’ll ask you for another favor.”
I placed White on the floor and stroked it briefly. A small scratch on a thorn in the left hand bled. I will recover, no matter how badly I was hurt, but I was hurt at the time. White’s eyes were fixed on me as I frowned and cast a divine spell.
“What? Why?”
Because it was a simple wound, it healed quickly. White, on the other hand, blinked and rolled on the floor once.
“White?”
Oh my goodness. In despair, I opened my mouth. White changed its appearance after rolling on the floor once. White thorns became white fur. It now resembled a bundle of white fur rather than a hedgehog.
It was cuter and fluffier, but that wasn’t the point.
“W-white! What’s going on!”
“Mwa.”
White jumped onto my lap, as if he wanted me to pat him more.
‘No, that’s not it!’
I know what this means, but I was about to cry.
“White! Comeback! Comeback!”
“Mwa.”
“Or bite! Bite me! Bite!”
“Mwa.”
“No, this… this monster like Ixion! I should’ve known since the eyes were clear!” I sighed and touched my forehead. Meanwhile, I thought the eyes staring at me were cute, so I patted him a few times. It didn’t hurt at all no matter how many times I touched it.
In despair, I returned my gaze.
‘Well, if White doesn’t work, I can take any monster and hurt myself.’
There will be some way to survive. I cut my legs with the claws of a crab-like monster that I used to dig for jewelry before, just in case. The skirt was unavoidably stained with blood, but after healing with divine magic once more, I stood up with a light heart.
“Right. There are a lot of monsters.”
I began walking again, this time holding White, which does not hurt at all.
‘I think I’ve lost track of time.’
How much time had passed again, no matter how much I rested and moved, my legs started to hurt.
“Huh?”
“Mwa.”
A light could be seen in the distance. Not the dim light in the cave, but the bright sunlight I saw with Ixion the other day.
“It’s the exit! It has to be the exit!”
I returned my gaze. It was time to say good-bye to the monsters who had been following me whether they were interested or not.I’m not sure why you were following me, but it was better than being alone. I also placed White on the ground with care.
“Yes, I was selfish. I can’t take you as a pet because you live here.” But, just in case, I left the blue ribbon behind. If I ran into him at the Marquis later, I wanted to protect him no matter what, even if it meant drawing my sword.
“Mwa.”
“Perhaps you’ve changed your appearance to scold my selfishness.”
‘Let us abandon the fantasy of infinite power. ‘I can continue to be a doctor who doesn’t have much luck.’
Furthermore, if the White were to step outside, it could attack humans. Taking them without knowing much about the monsters was dangerous and insufficient.
“I believe it would be better for me if I could be a monster like you. Thank you for giving me hope.”
I turned back and waved my hand after stroking White’s fur one last time. “Take care, everyone. Don’t go out and die, just stay here.” I was curious how long it had been outside.
I took a quick step forward toward the light.

“Isith?”
Ixion did not stop Isith, who suddenly lost control and ran in an unexpected direction.
“Prince! Where are you going?”
Aiden and the knights who were with Ixion started chasing Isith in an unexpected direction.
“The Prince has gone insane!”
There was a system of its own, no matter how insane Ixion had been searching for this monster’s habitat. Of course, there had to be a rule of movement in order to search most efficiently. But it’s strange to run in the wrong direction all of a sudden.
On any battlefield, he was a man who never did anything unexpected. Aiden yelled at the knights following him, an ominous foreboding passing through his mind.
“There’s a chance he’ll hurt himself, so summon all the knights!” He couldn’t bear the thought of Ixion’s reaction if Isith discovered Elsia’s body. “I need the help of all the knights to stop the Prince!” As a result, the number of Knights who followed Ixion began to grow.
Isith ran wildly, and others gradually joined in. Even civilians who were unaware of what was going on were logging in and interfering, wondering if there was a good view.
Niel was one of those who joined.
