Let Me Be Reborn - Chapter 6
Chapter 6: God is Good (1)
“Oh—oh fuck! God is angry!” King Yeomra said.
“Aren’t you a god?”
“God watches all decisions. He’s nowhere and everywhere. He is omnipotent. You just blasphemed the Divine.”
“Oh… I didn’t know that…”
So it was blasphemy to express my thoughts? Damn it, then you should’ve warned me in advance!
“Then… what will happen to me?”
King Yeomra shrugged. “I don’t know. I just follow God’s will. This matter is already out of my hands.”
Don’t say such irresponsible things!
Then, everything around me turned black as a spotlight flashed from far away. In an instant, everything around me twisted and I had been teleported onto a stage.
“This is a famous temple.”
“Wh—what? Where are we?”
“This is God’s space.”
“Whose temple?”
“God.”
“…Who are you?”
I must have heard things wrong because I had the answer to my question before I could utter them out loud.
Does this make sense? How can my questions be answered before I could even ask them?
Odd.
But maybe everything is possible because it’s God.
“You don’t need to say it. Just your thoughts are enough.”
“…”
“From what I’ve heard, you seem to have faced many injustices in your life. Oh, right. I don’t have a conscience?”
“…”
“Listen up. When it came to the creation of the human species, I just rolled the dice. As a result, some were born with more talent and good looks, while others had to deal with less ability and bad luck. How can you not accept this as your natural destiny?”
“…”
“Unfair? Didn’t you have a better brain than anyone else? When others studied for 3 hours just to get good grades, you were able to manage 10 hours. That was the talent you were given.”
“…”
“What? You’d rather be taller and more handsome? What a pitiful human being you are. You’re not satisfied with what you have and instead, you lust over things you don’t have.”
“…”
“Fine. That’s good. I’ll grant you one privilege in the next life so you won’t feel wronged with this destiny of yours. I’ll let you pick your intelligence, height, and the size of your dick as much as you like. I won’t interfere.”
“…”
“It’s 300.”
“How much is it all?”
A question popped out of my rotten mouth without realizing it. Still, God answered my question before I could ask.
“It’s entirely up to you how to distribute the number 300. However, the consequences are something you will have to face. Don’t go blaming destiny. Do you understand?”
And that folks, is how my second life began.
* * *
I opened my eyes.
A white ceiling hovered over me. Looking at the room at a small glance, I seemed to be at a studio apartment.
Mirror… where’s the mirror?
The only thing in this room was a cheap closet and a desk with a small laptop.
When I walked inside the bathroom, I looked at my reflection in the mirror.
I’m not dreaming, right?
“Oh, fuck!”
Unknowingly, a vulgar curse popped out. I thought I was dreaming. I had fallen asleep in the underworld… but everything was real.
I died once, and I was reborn with a face that I’ve never seen before.
The Grim Reaper who was tasked with escorting me back to earth said earlier, “The principle of reincarnation is to erase all memories and to be reborn. But in your case, with God’s special consideration, you have entered the body of another person with all the memories of your past life.”
“Are you saying the soul changes? What about the other soul whose body I will occupy? What will happen to him?”
“You don’t have to worry about that. You’ll be entering the body of a person who has just passed away.”
“Ah… I’m relieved to hear that. By the way, God has given me the number 300 to be distributed as much as I want.”
“So, how are you going to distribute it?”
300.
This number will be divided based on height, intelligence, and finally, the size of my dick. It’s not an ambiguous number that couldn’t be considered big or small. It’s not unfair either as the calculations were based on the total sum I had in my past life.
What should I do… right, let’s do my height first.
In my past life, I was 158cm tall. I, who used to be one of the tallest guys in elementary school, stopped growing when I hit middle school and immediately fell to the bottom in rankings.
I’ll be greedy with my height.
“For height, I’ll go with 185cm.”
I just flipped the numbers.
“All right. Height is 185cm.”
“And my IQ…”
In my previous life, my IQ was 147.
The so-called geniuses of the world only equate to less than 0.02% of the population. I don’t wish to invest too much of my points left in intelligence. I had already experienced the life of a genius, so what’s there to experience?
