Ethan Smith only felt weakness in his limbs as he collapsed to the ground.
“Ethan!” Clare Richardson rushed over anxiously upon seeing this.
Ethan’s brow furrowed tightly as he tried to gather the energy inside his body, only to find all of his acupoints sealed, rendering him completely immobile.
“This is our Ice Palace’s Ice Spirit Needle, which can seal a person’s acupoints.” The black-robed man spoke coldly.
“Once you’re hit by the Ice Spirit Needle, your energy will wither away, leading to your death.”
Ethan remained silent, lying on the ground, his face quickly turning red.
But he wasn’t panicking. He desperately channeled his energy, trying to break through the acupoints sealed by the Ice Spirit Needle!
“What should we do with Ethan Smith?” One black-robed man asked.
“Kill him. We can’t leave him alive,” another one coldly replied.
So the three men immediately strode forward!
They wielded a radiant glow, fiercely striking down at Ethan!
“Boom!”
The ground beneath them instantly collapsed, and Clare Richardson, who was at Ethan’s side, was affected by the shockwave, being blasted off her feet!
This was an attack of a Marquis, something a Peak Form of Grandmaster could never withstand!
Under this blow, Clare’s flesh burst open, and her energy withered away!
“Clare!” Ethan’s face instantly changed upon seeing this!
He gritted his teeth, desperately channeled his energy, and continued to attack his acupoints!
“He’s actually still alive.” The three men frowned slightly upon seeing that Ethan remained unharmed.
“It’s said that his physical body is extremely strong. It won’t be easy to kill him.”
“Let’s just hurry and get what we came for. We shouldn’t stay here too long.”
With that, a black-robed man stepped forward.
He grabbed Clare’s neck, lifting her up into the air.
“Tell me, where is the mask?” The black-robed man coldly asked.
Clare clenched her teeth, responding word by word, “I… I won’t give it to you!”
“Being stubborn won’t end well for you,” the black-robed man coldly said.
He slowly increased the force in his hand, and Clare’s face instantly turned red!
She struggled desperately, but her strength was insignificant against a Marquis!
Just then, William Richardson suddenly grabbed a kitchen knife, fiercely chopping it down on the back of the black-robed man’s head!
“Bang!”, the kitchen knife shattered upon impact!
“You… let go of my daughter!” William bellowed angrily!
“Uncle, run!” Ethan urged upon seeing this!
William was just an ordinary man. There was no way he could damage a Marquis!
But a casual blow from a Marquis could easily take William’s life!
The black-robed man slowly turned around.
Coldly looking at William, he said, “Ignorant fool!”
Following that, the black-robed man struck out with a swipe of his hand, sending William flying!
Although it was just a casual swipe, it was enough to break William’s bones and cause his body to be drenched in blood!
William lay on the ground, covered in blood, his face unrecognizable.
“You… let go of my daughter…” William struggled to utter these words before passing out.
His life force was rapidly fading, and the specter of death even appeared on his face!
Ethan’s face turned pale upon witnessing this!
“No, I have to be faster, or Uncle will definitely die!” Ethan anxiously said!

This ray of light targeted William, and a terrifying force brewed rapidly!
“Stop!” Ethan yelled upon seeing this!

But his speed was too slow and there wasn’t enough time!

A ray of light erupted from the black-robed man’s hand, heading straight for William!
“Boom!”
The ground in that area collapsed instantly!
William’s body was nearly shattered!

She stared blankly at William’s direction, tears streaming down her face like large beads!

They threw Clare aside and immediately ran toward the mask!
However, the mask flew straight towards Clare instead, tightly attaching to her face!
