Chapter 35 Almost Taken My Life

Oh my God! What is happening?

Mu Yu looked as though she was stung by a scorpion and immediately withdrew her hand. Unfortunately, her movements were too big, and she couldn’t manage to balance herself. Her entire body couldn’t help but fall to the front.

The next thing she knew, her face was already buried in front of Qin Jinhuan. She was flustered and had carelessly grabbed his shirt with both of her hands. “What are you doing?” When a low growl rang, her hands were also tightly gripped.

This damn woman, how dare she pull my shirt? Doesn’t she know what the consequence will be?

When he was cursing, she immediately pushed him away and even grabbed the opportunity to give him a hard pinch.

“Tsk!”

Damn woman! How dare she pinch me, and she even did it so hard!

“Hmph!” She glared angrily and embarrassingly at him with a ‘don’t think I’m a pushover, you’re dead if you dare take advantage of me’ look.

He was annoyed by the pain and had thought of revenge. He immediately dragged her and pressed himself on top of her.

Disgusting! Shameless! Savage! She scolded angrily in her heart.

Deeply afraid that he would really go out of the line, she was utterly embarrassed and annoyed. She was madly trying to get out of his ‘cage’ by shaking her head furiously and flinging her hands all over the place.

Initially, he just wanted to tease her. After seeing her struggling so badly and being obviously disgusted with him, it had made him feel a little upset. Still thinking about teasing her, he leaned even closer toward her.

“Qin Jinhuan! Let me go!” Mu Yu was frightened and warned. “If you don’t let me go, I’ll…”

“What will you do?” he teased.

I will kill you! Chop you into pieces!

Mu Yu screamed in her heart.

However, she wasn’t armed.

Right, I have a scalpel!

Last night before going to bed, she hadn’t let her guard down on Qin Jinhuan and secretly hid the scalpel in the drawer of their bedside table.

Why did I choose the drawer of the bedside table and not under the pillow?

When she saw he was approaching her again, Mu Yu exclaimed in shock, “I will tell your grandpa everything!”

“If you dare come, I will kill you!” Although she was hesitant, she still pretended to look imposing and talked in a very aggressive way.

“Hehehe, it’s just a joke. You’re really no fun.” Qin Jinhuan clapped his hands disapprovingly and reminded her just in time. “You can play whatever you want but not with a knife. Put it away. Don’t hurt yourself before you can hurt.”

“Huan? Hurry up and open the door.”

The anxious knocks on the door and Qin Xiaozhi’s voice rang again, interrupting Mu Yu’s words.

When Mu Yu turned her head, Qin Jinhuan grabbed the knife and quickly dragged her to the bed. Within seconds, he tucked her into the bed and ordered in a low tone, “Lie down quickly.”

“Hey! You…”

She didn’t expect him to reach out and grab her clothes. She, who hadn’t calmed down yet, was alarmed again as she grabbed her nightgown with all her might while she kicked him madly.

“You beast! You…”

“Shut up!” Realizing that his actions were inappropriate, Qin Jinhuan stopped. He lowered his voice, “Take it off yourself.”

Mu Yu was so furious that she covered herself over the sheets desperately and cursed at him angrily, “Psychopath! Despicable… Mmm…”

Her mouth was covered by his. She looked at his sullen face with fear.

“Grandpa is just outside. If you want to get your parents into trouble, scream all you want.”

Mu Yu shivered and kept nodding her head. She looked at him pitifully as a sign that she would do as he said. She felt that if she continued shaking her head, he would get angry and suffocate her to death.

Qin Jinhuan released his hand and whispered, “Take off your clothes and lie down.”

“Do I really have to?”

“I’m worried that Grandpa might enter the room.”

“Why would he enter the room?”

As the knocking sound and the shouts of his grandpa continued, Qin Jinhuan didn’t have much time to explain and said briskly, “To check the room.”

Mu Yu felt her entire body stiffened again and was depressed. “Does Grandpa really have to see it to finally believe that we are a couple?”

She had just been badly humiliated for the first time. If she had to go through it the second time, she might as well be dead.

Qin Jinhuan was speechless and said impatiently, “Throw your pajamas on the floor. Don’t you know how to leave an arm outside the sheets? Hurry up.”

“Oh.” Mu Yu looked at him uncomfortably as she felt like he had an ulterior motive, so she was hesitant to take her clothes off.

“Do you need my help to take them off?” Qin Jinhuan made a gesture to approach her again.

“No, no. I can do it, but please step back a little.”

Seeing him sitting back half a meter, Mu Yu only had her head outside of the sheets as she removed her nightgown under it.

Taking her nightgown out from the sheets, Qin Jinhuan grabbed it and threw it across the floor, not far from the bed.

After thinking for a moment, he walked quickly over the drawer. He took out a set of Mu Yu’s lingerie from the drawer and threw it on the floor too. Then, he stared intensely at Mu Yu and saw that she was cooperating with him as she lay down obediently on the bed. He then walked to the door that was banged loudly and slowly cracked the door open.

“What is it?”

“What took you so long to open the door? Are you deaf? Didn’t you hear the knocking on the door?” Qin Xiaozhi asked while he gave a sly look and gave Qin Jinhuan a once-over.

Qin Jinhuan wasn’t wearing anything and didn’t avoid his grandpa’s stare. He didn’t even reply to his grandpa’s question but just stated impatiently, “Say what you want quickly.”

Qin Xiaozhi withdrew his gaze and replied slowly, “I’ve already checked carefully. I have indeed wronged Mu Yu for last night’s incident. I want to apologize to her now.”

“There’s no need.”

“I must apologize to her or else I have treated her unfairly.” With that, Qin Xiaozhi pushed Qin Jinhuan suddenly, catching Qin Jinhuan off guard, and barged straight into the room.

“Grandpa! Yu is still asleep! Don’t wake her up.” Qin Jinhuan purposely took a few slow steps and then caught up with his grandpa quickly. He pretended to stop him angrily.

However, from where they stood, he believed his grandpa had seen the clothes that were thrown all over the floor.

“Oh, I’ve forgotten young people enjoy taking their naps. Never mind, I’ll find her later.”

Qin Xiaozhi walked out of the room briskly and closed the door when he was out of the room.

Looking at the door shut tightly, Qin Jinhuan was shocked.

He was looking all flushed and was slightly breathless. He was topless and looking at the clothes thrown all over the floor, anyone would have guessed what had happened in the room after knocking on the door for so long.

Grandpa was always against me being together with Mu Yu. Based on his personality, Grandpa would have been furious, looking at this scene that I had deliberately made him see. Why did I see an obvious faint smile hanging on his face?

And I was sure I saw it correctly!

Isn’t this too weird?

He couldn’t seem to believe his own eyes.

“Hey?”

He turned and saw how Mu Yu was still buried under the sheets, looking at him timidly. Then, he recollected himself and waved his hand at her as a sign that she could put her clothes on. At the same time, he picked up his own robe and wore it.

When he was awakened by his grandpa knocking on the door, he had guessed that his grandpa was finding an excuse to enter the room to see how intimate he was with Mu Yu. So, he had quickly thrown his robe on the floor and put the pillows that were in the middle on the bed back onto the sofa. He didn’t expect that awkward accident to happen when he tried to remove Mu Yu’s pillow.

Thinking about their ‘argument’ just now, he felt something else in his heart.

This woman is quite interesting.

This is getting even weirder. How could I be interested in this woman?

He had seen many smart and beautiful women. Although this woman was pretty and smart, she wasn’t his type! She was only his wife by contract whom he had spent money on. There was nothing special about her!

As for his fickle love affairs, they were just for show to the public.

Why did it feel different today?

Mu Yu was using a sheet to cover herself as she carefully got down from the bed to pick up her nightgown on the floor. When she saw Qin Jinhuan staring directly at her, she immediately pointed her scalpel at him and warned sharply, “I’m telling you, don’t you dare! Otherwise, don’t blame my scalpel for being merciless!”

With a weapon for self-defense on her, she had become bolder.

Qin Jinhuan’s eyes flickered slightly and remained silent. He then lowered his head and went into the bathroom.

“Shameless beast! Pervert! Lunatic!”

Mu Yu was cursing furiously while she used a wet wipe to wipe the places where he had touched her.

If she could, she would have used the best sanitizer to wipe all over her body.

After she got dressed and was about to get out of bed, she saw Qin Jinhuan walking out of the bathroom, and she froze again. She stared at him and grasped the scalpel tightly in her hand as she tried to figure out what she could do if he approached her again.

Luckily, Qin Jinhuan didn’t take another look at her nor did he speak another word to her. He hurriedly went into the dressing room, got changed, and left the bedroom. She heaved a sigh of relief and entered the bathroom. She brushed her teeth five times and used her facial cleanser to wash her face ten times, but she still didn’t feel clean enough.

When she was about to wash her face for the eleventh time, Li Xianglan’s voice rang outside the bathroom.

“Mistress, there’s someone looking for you.”

“Looking for me? Is it a male or a female?” Who could have come here to look for me? Mu Yu was somewhat suspicious.

“It’s a male. It’s…”

Is it Yihan?

Mu Yu immediately threw the towel aside and said, “I’ll be down immediately.” Then, she rushed out of the bathroom and ran into the dressing room.
