Skeleton’s Training Manual - Chapter 15
Chapter 15: 015 Summer Plans

Skeleton’s stew would take about three to four hours.
Since it would still take some time, it was impossible for Lu Wu to just sit and wait for Skeleton.
Therefore, Lu Wu decided to use this time to make plans for his summer break!
To be frank, ever since he talked to the seniors about the special class and the National Junior High League, Lu Wu felt pressured.
He realised that he was just blindly confident before this and most of it was because of his ignorance.
The more he knew about the league and the summoned beasts, the more pressure he felt.
With his current condition…
Even if he ignored the financial situation, he still had to complete Skeleton’s Training Manual 2.0 within a month and enhance its quality to ‘normal’ or if there’s any chance for it, he would like to make it a little stronger than normal.
However, it would still be extremely difficult for him to enter the special class in his final year.
Since Skeleton reaching [normal] level was just everyone else’s starting point and none of them would remain at their starting point after the summer break.
According to the senior who summoned a coyote, her summoned beast started off as [normal] as well.
Then, she managed to enhance it and already gained a new skill — [Gnaw] by the third day.
She even went for training classes during her summer break.
After training for two months, her coyote was already a 1 star summoned beast with 2 special skills — [Gnaw] and [Wind Blade] by the time final year started.
With this level of achievement, she was only average amongst her classmates in the special class!
This meant that Lu Wu would have to at least enhance Skeleton’s quality till [normal], raise its strength to 1 star and it had to gain two new skills within the next two months.
This still may not be enough!
This was because, according to what the senior told him, the school would be much stricter when it comes to useless summoned beasts like Skeleton since they knew that he didn’t have much potential which makes it much more difficult for him to enter into the special class.
Skeleton had to be an extraordinary one in order to be accepted!
Lu Wu felt his head throbbing when he thought about all this.
“What was wrong with me? I must have burned my brains when I had a fever during my childhood. How stupid do I have to be that I made such a promise to that girl when I’m already in such a tough spot? Would that even be possible with my current condition?”
At this instant, Lu Wu had the urge to tell Pang Tutu that he messed up and he was willing to compensate her with his body!
“Hmmm… forget it! I’ll deal with it when I have to. For now, I have other things to worry about!”
Perhaps it was because he finally had conscience or because he really couldn’t accept dating Pang Tutu, he left this at the back of his mind.
Then, Lu wu started listing out the things that he had to complete at the moment.
First, he’d have to enhance Skeleton’s quality.
He’d have to train Skeleton and get it to at least 1 star and gain 2 special skills.
At the same time, he had to come up with a training manual for Pang Tutu and get her to enhance Piglet’s quality as well.
When he placed all these problems together, Lu Wu realised that the main problem here was still the lack of money!
If he had sufficient money, the ingredients that Skeleton needed for its enhancement would no longer be a problem.
If he had sufficient money, he would register into a training class for him and Pang Tutu, which would help them in getting special skills for their summoned beasts.
But the problem now was that he had no money!
Which put him in a very awkward and painful spot.
“Looks like money really solves all the problems in the world. Guess i’ll have to find a way to earn some cash!”
Lu Wu started brainstorming about the ways that he could earn money and muttered to himself, “If I remember correctly, most of them who transmigrated would earn money by copying things from their previous life. Should I do the same as well? I’ll copy songs and novels? These are relatively easier things to do and the money would come quickly as well. I’ll be a f**king millionaire in no time!”
As he thought about it, he was really convinced that it will work.
Lu Wu got extremely motivated when this idea came to his mind. However, just as he was about to start writing something down, he realised that it wasn’t as easy as he thought it was.
Although he had a photographic memory, this was a skill that he got after teleporting. He didn’t have such a memory before teleporting. Lu Wu could only hum a few notes to the song he had heard in his previous life and he couldn’t even correctly remember the lines from a show he had watched. There was no way he could write up a complete novel or a song.
He was not skilled in either composing or writing.
In the end, he realised that this idea was completely useless and Lu Wu felt even more helpless about his situation.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
Lu Wu picked up the phone and realised that it was Li Chun.
Lu Wu was confused. They were on their summer break. Why was Li Chun calling him?
“Hello, good evening sir!”
“Part time job? Uh? Four thousand per month? … Ummm sure. Okay. I’ll go over there tomorrow morning.”
“Don’t put it that way, I should be the one thanking you instead!”
…
After a few minutes, Lu Wu ended the call and there was a complicated look on his face.
He never imagined that the reason Li Chun called him was because Li Chun wanted to offer him a job.
Li Chun mentioned that his uncle had recently opened a new store and they would need extra hands over the summer break.
Therefore, when Lu Wu first heard what Li Chun said, he actually hesitated.
It was true that he already had this plan in mind, but when it was offered to him, it caught him off guard.
However, when he heard that his salary was four thousand yuan a month with a 12 hour shift, Lu Wu thought that this was possibly the most suitable job for him now. So he accepted it without hesitation.
Even if he wouldn’t have a million yuan, eight thousand yuan was better than nothing!
“Looks like I’ve got no other choice but to get a summer job. Well, at least I have enough for Skeleton’s training ingredients!”
Since he’d already found a job and had enough ingredients, Lu Wu started thinking about the special skills.
Lu Wu thought about it and currently he had two options.
The first one was to wait for the senior to send him the special class material. Lu Wu recalled that there were a few training methods that were specially designed to awaken special skills. Although the success rate was really low, Lu Wu thought that it wouldn’t be a problem since he had his golden finger.
As for the second one, he wanted to try what Pang Tutu did with her Piglet — to be more intimate with his summoned beast.
He should try being nicer to Skeleton and maybe increasing the intimacy between them could awaken a skill.
Of course, as an adult, he wouldn’t need to pick only one and abandon the other since he could have both. However, this brought up another issue.
“Does this mean that I have to consider sleeping with Skeleton?”
When Lu Wu thought about it, he was hesitant.
He had never shared his bed with anyone, and he would give his first time to Skeleton?
No way! No f**king way!
Lu Wu felt that this was absurd.
“It is impossible for me to fall asleep while hugging onto this fella. Looks at that dumb look on its face! Even if I sleep and eat together with it, I doubt that it would make much of a difference. The main thing about nurturing intimacy is that they should share the same emotions or perhaps share the same hobby. Pang Tutu obviously could relate to Piglet’s pleasure in eating and sleeping. Therefore, it would be much easier for her to nurture intimacy. If I want to get closer with Skeleton, I’ll have to find something that could trigger it or at least something that it’s interested in!”
Well… you can’t deny that in order to protect his first time sleeping with someone else, Lu Wu did cause a lot of trouble for himself!
