Chapter 1008: Meeting Mother Su at the Supermarket

Chi Xia had never met such a difficult person. She had to go along with him on everything. If she had a slightly different opinion, he would change his attitude at will.

“Let’s go settle the bill then,” Chi Xia mumbled as she lowered her head.

Chi Xia did not know what he was looking at. She followed his line of sight and saw two people choosing drinks in the opposite bar. One was a middle-aged woman and the other was a young girl.

Chi Xia wasn’t sure if Su Chen was looking at the two of them. Su Chen turned around as if nothing had happened and was about to leave when the middle-aged woman opposite him saw Su Chen.

“Chen Chen.” The woman changed her tone and walked over.

Chi Xia looked at Su Chen’s expressionless face, then at the middle-aged woman’s passionate expression and intimate way of addressing him. She had a question in her heart and guessed the other party’s identity.

The woman walked towards them, but Su Chen did not stop. Seeing Chi Xia standing still, he held her hand and walked in the opposite direction.

Chi Xia stared blankly at Su Chen holding her hand. Her palm was a little cold, but his was the opposite. She felt warm when he held her hand.
